What Yucatan lack (river), it more that makes up in Cenotes!
And finally a toast to the Cenotes of the Yucatan!!! Oh man the cool nice clear water after a whole day in the blaring sun is undescribable! Mother nature has the best swimming pools I've ever seen.

The Gran Cenote... This is just the entrance, a HUGE underwater Cave system is available for more adventurous Divers. There's a boardwalk and a small bar on the other side. Nothing like salsa on the side eh?

I actually forgot the name, but this is the first Cenote we visited off Piste.
As all cenotes, this is very very deep. Fishes are small and blind.
There's nothing like jumping the ledge of this cenote. Gives you that rush!
The picture doesn't quite do justice. On the other side, there is a tall wall full of vegetation, dropping about 15 meters.

Cenote Xkeken. Description from Frommers "Water so blue, it comes from a dream". Apparently frommers forgot to mention the blue appears during noon time, when the sun is directly above the hole.

Oh well, I did see a huge body of water so freakin blue, it came out of a painting.

Ladies and Gentlemen.... presenting.... the Caribbean sea!
